Vinyl Beanbag Juggling Ball (Small)

These are the most common jugging balls, and are made of a vinyl (PVC) coated cloth and filled with bird seed. The beanbag ball (though never actually made with beans) is great for juggling because the ball will not roll when dropped, nor will it bounce off another ball if there is a mid-air collision. This ball is the softest type of juggling ball, with a very squishy feel. There is a wide variety of juggling balls that look essentially the same as this ball. The difference between these various beanbags is the quality of fabric and thread, how well they are sewn together, and the precision of the beanbag weights. Juggling balls made in China tend to be of very low quality, which we do not sell. Our vinyl beanbag juggling balls comes in 5 sizes.

  • Extra-Small: 56 mm (2.25 inch) diameter, 75 grams

Comparable to the size of a racquetball. An adult juggler can easily hold 3 (and maybe even 4) balls in one hand. This is a good size for numbers juggling with 6-9 balls, as some jugglers like to start the pattern with 4 balls situated flatly in one hand rather than stacked like a pyramid (with 3 balls resting on the palm and one ball ontop of them). This size is also good for children under 4.5 ft tall, as they can comfortably hold 2 balls in one hand.

  • Small: 68 mm (2 5/8 inch) diameter, 130 grams

Comparable to the size of a tennis ball. This size is the most common sized juggling bag and is perfect for 3-7 ball juggling. This ball could also be used for children if they are over 4.5 ft tall, and is a good size for all adult beginners.
  • Large: 72 mm (2.8 inch) diameter, 155 grams

The large beanbag ball works best for jugglers over 5 ft 8 in tall.
  • Extra-Large: 83 mm (3.25 inch) diameter, 230 grams

The extra-large beanbag ball is great for jugglers who are over 6 ft tall and have large hands and arms. In general, 230 grams is too heavy for average sized people.
  • Jumbo: 100 mm (4 inch) diameter, 495 grams

This ball is for clowning, magic tricks or other applications where you want a really huge juggling ball. It is too heavy for long-term juggling, but can be nice size for a joke or a trick.

Very good! Balls feel good and are quite durable

Great coloring and well stitched together. The vinyl material itself does not have a long shelf life though. Several of the balls I have purchased have started stretching out and a few have started "shedding" little flakes of the protecting outer coat. Great weight and a terrific ball for beginners or juggling 5+

Start more firm but break in to a more squishy ball, fairly quickly.

Excellent

Really nice beanbags. Very satisfying to throw and catch, look good, and so far has made juggling more fun.

Really liking these as my practice balls. They are very squishy but do hold their shape quite well. A bit on the heavy side but they are making me noticeably stronger. Only complaint is that the filling shows through so they do appear rather bumpy. I wouldn’t show off with these but I am learning much faster now
