The Blazing Star Fire Hoop has flexible cable spines that offers just the right combination of rigidity and flexibility. They won't flop around on you while hooping, but will flex if they hit the ground or need to be bent to fit into cars.

These hoops are solidly constructed with wick spokes permanently installed into the hoop tubing. Standard tubing is 160 psi, 3/4" tubing (1" outside tubing diameter) and joined with a nylon connector. Standard wicks are 2 inch width for easy and inexpensive replacement.

Choose less fire points (wicks) if you want a lighter hoop. This also allow more space between fire points to work off the body. A five point hoop is a great compromise between weight, wick spacing, and flames. In choosing diameters, smaller is better for off the body work especially vertical hooping. Larger diameters are slower and easier to do basic hooping, while smaller diameters are faster can be more challenging to hoop with. Our fire hoops come untaped and undecorated. For assembly the customer must tape the joint with tape to hold it together with a spiral of gaffers tape or other method. Grip must be added before use as the hoop tubing alone will be too slippery without grip tape. By leaving the taping up to you, we have kept the price low.

Custom orders can be made as we love special requests and specialty tubing may be ordered if desired. We stock lightweight tubing in 100psi, 3/4 inch standard tubing and 125psi, 1/2 inch narrow tubing. Low profile wicks may be installed for the 3/4 tubing hoops, and it's standard for the 1/2 inch tubing. We use 1.5 inch wide wicks for our lightweight hoops. Cost the same if using these tubings as our bomber hoop that use 160psi, 3/4 inch tubing, and for any specialty tubing, we will quote a build for you.
