Adhesive backed wick is available in four widths and is used for initial application for fire tools such as staff, swords and knives to hold material in place for hardware installations. It may also be used as an insulator to shield the body from hot metal. It comes with a peel off backing and sticks well to surfaces and itself when wrapped or overlapped. This high quality blend of Kevlar wick has been the mainstay for our fire tools for nearly 30 years.

This wick is the perfect blend of fibers for making fire tools with the ratio of fiberglass to kevlar optimized for fuel absorbency and weight. That translates to a better tool for burn time, flame size and longevity. Pure Kevlar which is often asked for is not an option in our offerings, would be expensive and not what is used in the realm of fire performance.
