Kevlar yarn is the raw material that all the kevlar wicking is woven from. This yarn is what makes up the core of Kevlar rope, It can be used for making hybrid wick, where you stuff kevlar sleeves with wick. These hybrid wicks cannot be to thick, if they are, the wicks can smolder even after the flame is put out. The yarn also make good wicking for fire balls oil burning lamps, hand lamps, or Tibetan Fire Bowls.
